~6 Months Later~

My second child was born, a daughter. I kept the name Devlin wanted for her, but I changed her middle name. She is Luna Leanne Kendall, in honor of her father, her father that was taken from her so abruptly before she was even born. She's healthy and happy, despite the only connection with her father being through memories and stories. And like him, she has his dirty blonde hair and adorable and curious personality.

With the help of my husband's friends and brother, the police arrested and convicted the murderers. They are serving 40 years in prison. I was at the trial; it took nearly all of my energy to stop myself from threatening and hurting them during breaks and bragging after the verdict was given.

Jayden was devastated to hear of his father, especially because of how he last saw him. But he was very understanding and knows that he's safe and happy now as he watches over us. He's such a great brother to Luna. He's taking care of her for me when I'm cooking meals, and he always wants to be around her and keep her smiling.

I've been raising the kids on my own, and put the money that my husband's friends gave me from the fight away for emergencies and to start a college fund for both my children. Amy, the babysitter, has been so willing to help whenever I needed her, and Monique has been making sure I move on. It doesn't mean to say that I'll ever date, though. And to keep my husband's memory alive in me, I've been studying on how to connect with spirits like he could. Maybe I could talk to him soon..
The final part to the story based on the rp I did with my bf, :iconboltdragon31:. I wanted to attempt to end it with a heartfelt ending. To those who read it all the way through, I hope you enjoyed it ^^
